This product does not need to be used in conjunction with the standard testing kit specified in the Disinfection Technical Specification.
When in use, the test package can be directly placed at the exhaust outlet of the sterilizer room, the cabinet door closed, and subjected to a sterilization test at 134 ℃ for 3.5 minutes. After completion, open the cabinet door, open the test package, take out the test chart, and observe the test results.
Suitable for pre vacuum pressure steam sterilization.
1. Run the empty pot to heat the sterilizer to the appropriate temperature.
2. Place the test package at the bottom of the empty pre vacuum sterilizer, above the exhaust port, usually in front of the rack, near the cabinet door. The test package must be placed flat with the label facing upwards.
3. Run the sterilizer for 3.5 minutes (134 ℃), any overtime operation will affect the B-D test results.
4. End of operation, check the test paper.
After sterilization, if the chemical indicator on the test package label changes from yellow to gray black, it indicates that the test package has been exposed to saturated steam.
Qualified: The pattern on the test chart has changed from yellow to a uniform gray black or black color, indicating that the color of the central and edge parts is consistent. The B-D test is qualified, indicating that the air exclusion sterilizer is working well without leakage and can be used normally.
Unqualified: The pattern on the test chart does not change color or does not change color completely. The B-D test is unqualified, indicating incomplete air removal or leakage. The sterilizer is malfunctioning and must be inspected and repaired before use.
Store in a dark, room temperature, and dry environment.
